An unusually well-credentialed Financial Advisor, Michael C. Wittenberg CFP®, ChFC®, AIF®, REBC®, CWS®, CLU®, RHU®, CRCP™ is in his 36th year serving wonderful individuals and families. Atypically for an investment professional, along with a graduate degree in education, Michael earned a Master of Science in Mental Health Counseling degree with distinction, which he teases is essential for working with the vagaries of stock markets.

In addition to serving clients, Michael began teaching in 1986 at a renowned community college that has been visited by two US Presidents, George W. Bush, and Barack H. Obama. Michael jokes that both Presidents heard about the five classes he teaches on Medicare, Social Security, Retirement, Investments, and Estate Planning Issues.

For fifteen years he worked at a global financial services firm becoming a Senior Vice President, and a Chairman’s Club member, before becoming President of his own financial services firm established with two of his team members in 1999. For many years Michael has had a weekly one-hour radio program discussing the US and global economies and markets. Numerous times, Michael has appeared on television news programs explaining critical market and economic events. Since 2002, when needed, Michael serves as an arbitrator for a financial industry regulatory body.

Michael has served as a volunteer in many capacities over his life. He joined VISTA, Volunteers in Service to America when he finished college. Michael has served on several community boards and has volunteered at institutions including schools and mental health centers.

Michael is blessed to have two terrific adult children. He loves domestic and international travel. His favorite hobbies are reading, reading, and reading.
